Mileage Tracker for Business is a mileage tracking app for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you are a Pro subscriber and have iCloud enabled on your device, your trip and vehicle data is synced to Apple's iCloud servers (CloudKit) to enable backup and cross-device access. This sync is governed entirely by Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/privacy. We do not have access to your data stored in iCloud — only you and Apple's infrastructure can access it. You can disable iCloud sync at any time via iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Mileage Tracker for Business.
Mileage Tracker for Business may send local notifications to your device to alert you about trip tracking events. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and are not sent from any external server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Mileage Tracker for Business.
Mileage Tracker for Business is designed for adults who drive for work or personal use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us at the email address below and we will ensure their data is removed promptly.
All data is stored on your device and you have full control at all times. You can delete individual trips, vehicles, and expenses from within the app. To delete all Mileage Tracker for Business data, uninstall the app — iOS removes all associated local data automatically. If you used iCloud sync, also delete the app's iCloud data via: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Mileage Tracker for Business → Delete Data.
Local data is protected by iOS's built-in data protection and is inaccessible to other apps on your device. iCloud communication is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data, so there is no central database to be breached.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to (a) know what personal information we have collected about you, (b) request deletion of your personal information, and (c) opt out of the sale of your personal information. If you are located in the European Economic Area, your personal data is processed on the legal basis of your consent (location permission) and the performance of our service (storing your trips so the app works).
