Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 21, 2026Package Tracker

Terms & Conditions — Package Tracker uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) which automatically applies to all App Store apps. You can read it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. By downloading and using the app you agree to those terms.

01

Overview

Package Tracker is a package tracking app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

02

Data We Collect

Tracking Numbers
Tracking numbers you manually enter or scan. These are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and are never uploaded to our servers.
Location (Optional)
Approximate location is used to calculate delivery distances and show nearby packages on the map. Location access is requested only when you use the map feature and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Camera (Optional)
Camera access is used solely to scan barcodes and QR codes for fast tracking number entry. No images or video are stored or transmitted.
Push Notification Tokens
If you enable notifications, iOS generates a device token used to deliver package status alerts. This token is not linked to your identity and is not shared with third parties.
Purchase Status
Whether you hold an active Package Tracker Premium subscription is stored locally using Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. We do not store payment information — all billing is handled by Apple.
03

Data We Do NOT Collect

No account required
Package Tracker requires no sign-up, email address, or account of any kind.
No analytics
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or any form of behavioural tracking.
No data sold
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
No cloud storage
Your package data lives exclusively on your device. We have no server-side copy of your tracking history.
04

Third-Party Services

Package Tracker uses the WhereParcel API to retrieve live tracking information from carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. When you add a tracking number, that number and the carrier name are sent to the WhereParcel API to fetch status updates. WhereParcel's own privacy policy governs their handling of this data. No other third-party services receive your data.

05

Children's Privacy

Package Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contactnikhil8@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

06

Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times. To delete all Package Tracker data, simply delete the app from your device. iOS will remove all associated local data automatically.

07

Security

All API communication is encrypted via HTTPS. Local data is protected by iOS's built-in data protection and is inaccessible to other apps.

08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
